Olivia Komahcheet is an American composer, producer, musician, and artist whose work spans within spaces of music, visual media, and phantasmagoria. Olivia’s original music can be heard on Brooks Running, Square Register, Shudder TV platforms. A 2021 Sundance Composers Lab Fellow, Olivia worked closely with Film and Television composers on her craft. The creative advisors for the intensive included Kathryn Bostic, Laura Karpman, Blake Neely, Heather McIntosh, George S. Clinton, Mychael Danna, Jeff Rona, and Christopher Willis. Her original music has been married to films screened at First Amerians Museum and TIFF FIlm Festival. Olivia has also worked with top brands Instagram, Ableton, Walrus Audio, Beatclub, Old Blood Noise and Native Audio.
Olivia’s touring experience encompasses over 50 live performances throughout the US and Canada that include The NAMM Show, SXSW, House of Blues Las Vegas, International Indigenous Music Summit and The Gathering of Nations. Olivia has performed virtually alongside Jewel, AWOLNATION, Jason, Mraz, Sia, Mike Posner, and many more and collectively intertwines a multitude of soundscapes often integrating alternative/indie, experimental art pop and indietronica.
Her single, MEEKU, was included on NPR Radio, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Denver’s best young professional magazine “303 Magazine”. As a musician, she has performed and collaborated with community of genres expanding from rap to rock. An alumni of NYC Sound Thinking Mentorship Program, Native American Arts and Cultures LIFT grantee and Western Arts Alliance Performing Arts Discovery Program, endorsed by Keeley Electronics, current member of Sundance Interdisciplinary Program and VIP Platinum Producer of Timbaland’s Beatclub, Olivia is an emerging talent and active voice among the next generation of music industry leaders.
