With an array of self-produced material released in the past three years, Jarvix defies easy genre categorization. From the whimsical musings of ‘Hugh Manatee & Other Favorites’ to the emotionally introspective video series ‘As You Are: The Looper Sessions’, his albums show a burning desire for pop experimentation.

In a live setting, he makes the most of a looping pedal, a ukulele, a microphone, and a handful of instrumental odds and ends. With this, he crafts layered live arrangements that engage audiences in both the songs and the processes behind them.

Inspired by fellow musical outsiders like David Byrne (Talking Heads) and Marrill Garbus (tUnE-yArDs), Jarvix channels his unusual persona to not just entertain, but to also inspire others to embrace their inner weirdness.
