Annie Oakley

Annie Oakley is an Oklahoma City-based all-girl band fronted by twin sisters Sophia and Grace Babb. Along with violinist Nia Personette, this award-winning group is known for their flawless vocal harmonies, sharply observant lyrics, and activism in art.

The Oklahoma Gazette wrote of the group as “speaking a throwback folk-Americana language that eludes most others at their tender age [ . . . ] their pristine, pillow-soft voices folding into immaculate harmonies the envy of even the most vetted musical collaborators.”

Variously compared with Fleet Foxes, First Aid Kit, and the Wailin’ Jennys, Annie Oakley was a featured showcase artist at the 2016 Southwest Regional Folk Alliance and will play an official showcase at the world’s largest folk music conference, Folk Alliance International, in 2017. The group released a self-titled and –produced EP in 2013 and their first studio-recorded EP, Thought of You a God, in 2015. They are currently working on their first full-length album.
